If you thought Paris was totally adult fun, think again! Kids have an amazing range of fun places
to go to. There are a variety of museums made especially for kids! While some museums
specialise in science themes, some of them deal with a wide range of dolls! For the more creative
tiny tots, there are café-theaters with productions catering to only children. And those kids who
believe in being rough and tough, there is the Musée de la Marine which covers maritime France
and includes scale models of ships.
Paris has some amazing parks. The best out of the lot is the Jardin d'Acclimatation. There
is an admission charge for the park but it's worth every penny. This park is best visited on
Wednesday.
And how can one forget kid's ultimate fun place, the Zoos? Though the largest zoo is at
Bois de Vincennes, the most appealing is the small but wonderful Menagerie du Jardin de Plantes
in the 5th arrondissement.
Kids will never be starved for entertainment in Paris. There is the magnificent
Disneyland Paris, spread across 1,500 acres, and it is sure to win any red-blooded child's heart!
You and your kids will also immensely enjoy a tour along the Seine river. A great one for
sight seeing, this tour is unique in a lot of ways. For one, during the tour the child would get to
see the entire overview of the beautiful city of Paris! Sure to kindle nostalgia in adults and
unbounded excitement in kids! A visit to Notre Dame, should not be ruled out either, if not for
anything else but for its breath-taking size and beauty.
On the Right bank one could take a stroll through the Jardin de Tuileries while savouring
heaps of ice-creams or ride on a donkey back or even attend marionette shows depending
on your little prince or princesses' mood. On the Left Bank, one can go to Jardin du Luxembourg
to enjoy the same kind of fun.
If Puppets turn your child on, you can catch a puppet show anywhere in Paris as they are
a great tradition in the city.
Don't let your child miss the wax museum at Musée Grevin, which is known for being the
number one waxworks' museum in Paris.
And yes, you have come to the fashion capital of the world and your child is still attired
in those normal clothes? There are many fashion shops specialising in children's clothes and also
a lot of fashion houses have separate outlets for kids!
In fact, Paris holds so much enjoyment for your tiny tots, that for once you will be glad
you have taken the children along for the holiday!
The major children attractions are:
Disneyland - theme park
France Miniature - leisure park
Astérix - amusement park
Cité des Sciences et de l'industrie - futuristic science museum

the islands (now called the Ile St-Louis) afforded strategic shelter from
unfriendly Barbarians. So the river has always been the heart of the city. This
is where you should begin. Read more
